Screed : |
AP 1000 has a basic screed width of 3 meters which can be hydraulically extended to 5.56 meters. Bolt on mechanical extensions offered on either side of the screed facilitate paving width of 9.56 meters. The tamping and vibration arrangements are in line with MORT&H specification. The screed plate heating systems with 8 nos. of diesel / LPG heaters avoids sticking of bitumen to the screed surface at start - up.

AP 1000 is powered by Cummins or equivalent engine which develops 169 HP at 2100 RPM.

|
| The crawler mounted track has a 3 point suspension for smooth driving. The 457 mm wide replaceable track pad as against the normal 352 mm wide pads, provide higher traction force to suit even paving of 12 meter width. In addition, the wide width track pads have a higher life span. |
