Apollo Hydrostatic Paver Finisher Model AP 550 with Automatic Electronic Sensor Device is a pioneer in this field. More than 1200 units are in operation, a manifestation of high level of customer acceptance of this proven technology.

Variable displacement motor and pump for infinitely variable paving and travel speeds. No mechanical shifting either in the pave or travel mode - effortless selection through finger tip control. Limited mechanical parts, hence very low maintenance and service needs.

	Conveyor and auger drive through variable displacement hydraulic pump and fixed motor for   adjusting the feed to the desired level.
	The steering and transmission are hydraulically controlled.

 

AP 550 has a basic screed width of 2.5 Meter; hydraulically extendable to 4.5 Meter. Bolt on mechanical extensions on each either side of screed offer paving width of 5.5 Meter. The tamping and vibration arrangement is in line with MORT&H specifications. The screed plate heating systems with 4 nos. of LPG / diesel burner (LPG heating is an optional extra) avoids sticking of bitumen to the screed surface at start up
